Marco Calasan is only nine years old, he goes to school, likes to watch movies, reads comics and plays with his friends. He speaks three languages and is learning a fourth. In his spare time he works for Microsoft as a systems engineer.
This whizkid happens to be a computer genius who holds four Microsoft certificates - he is the youngest Microsoft systems engineer in the world. Recently Marco showed CNN's Anna Coren around the computer lab at his school and talked about IPTV, the content delivery system which he set up all by himself. The kid uses the technology to stream high quality video throughout Macedonia and also provides a service for the country's disabled.
If that wasn't enough, Marco has written a 312-page book on Microsoft's Windows 7. Professor Elena Achkovska-Leshkovska at the Institute of Psychology in Skopje tested Marco when he was seven years old - she found that his brain operated the same as a child over the age of 12. But the other object of fascination was his high level of emotional and social skills, something not normally found in such gifted children.
